Postpartum doulas share infant care and calming tips. They offer baby feeding options, sibling care, and holistic meals and snacks for optimal postnatal nutrition. Postpartum doulas can hold space as you process your birth story and refer you to other maternal health professionals as needed. In home visits are usually 2-3 hours long a few times a week for the first 2-3 months of baby's life. Overnight hours may be available. Parents can get extra sleep, eat a nourishing meal, or just relax. Many doulas also include light cleaning and household organization in their services.

Lactation specialists offer supportive care, information, and strategies to help build your confidence and success. It all starts with us assessing the situation by watching a feeding. We assist you in finding comfortable positions for you and your child to achieve a pain-free latch and learn this new skill together.
